ARK News... The Syrian Democratic Forces, on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, held a meeting, in which they confirmed that they are ready to coordinate with the Syrian regime army.

In the final statement of the meeting, the Syrian Democratic Forces confirmed that they are ready to coordinate with the Syrian regime army to repel any possible Turkish attack on the area.

Mazloum Kobani, the commander of SDF, Aldar Khalil, the leader of the PYD, and Hussein Kochar, the military leader of the Syrian Democratic Forces, made fiery statements to the media, followed by ARK, threatening historical resistance if Turkey launched a military operation.

Mazloum Kobani said that the region will witness a historical resistance that is not the same as the one that took place in Afrin, and that Hussein Kochar was not satisfied with that, but claimed that his forces would liberate Afrin, Serê Kaniyê, and Girê Spî.

These statements come in conjunction with Turkish threats to carry out another military operation, to end the presence of the PKK, while the PYD administration continues to present arguments and pretexts to Turkey stating the presence of PKK in Syria.

Because of the arguments and pretexts presented by the PKK, Turkey 2018-2019 carried out two military operations in Syrian Kurdistan, during which it took control of the Afrin region and its seven districts and villages, in addition to the city of Serê Kaniyê and Girê Spî, and the war caused the displacement of more than half a million from the Afrin region and the two cities of Serê Kaniyê and Girê Spî.
