ARK News… The Swedish Foreign Minister confirmed that her country considers the PKK a terrorist organization, and there may be a misunderstanding regarding Sweden's position on this issue.

According to the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, Swedish Foreign Minister Anne Linda said that Sweden, as the European Union, considers the Kurdistan Workers' Party "PKK" a terrorist organization.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs explained that there may be a misunderstanding regarding Sweden's position on this issue, and it is not true that we will not classify the PKK as a terrorist organization, and if such a perception is formed, it must be clarified.

Anne Linda's comments came when commenting on the statements of Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan about Sweden and Finland's efforts to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and occupy seats in parliaments.

Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said in statements from the German capital, Berlin, that Sweden and Finland provide "very public support for the PKK and its Syrian army, the YPG."
