Statement of the establishment of the Syria Monitoring Network for Human Rights
ARK News... On April 20, 2022, a group of Syrian youth announced the establishment of the Syria Monitoring Network for Human Rights, pledging to defend the rights of the Syrian people and convey their voice and suffering to the free world. ARK received a copy of the founding statement in it.
Since 2011 and the launch of the popular movement in Syria towards achieving democracy throughout Syria, and with the increase in the controlling forces and factions on the ground, the wave of violations against human rights began and did not stop despite the passage of more than a decade since that, and many organizations and human rights defense bodies worked to monitor Violations within the framework of documenting and submitting them to international courts in the framework of limiting them in Syria and holding the perpetrators accountable.
We announce to the Syrian and Kurdish public opinion the announcement of the Syria Monitor Network for Human Rights by a national group of Syrian youth and intellectuals from all components to monitor and document violations in Syria by any party and without bias.
We will work in coordination with the human rights organizations of the United Nations, and we will never fail to defend the rights of the Syrian people in free and dignified life, and to convey their voice and their suffering to the free world, with our full and complete commitment to the international charters and standards approved by the United Nations.
