ARK News… On the sidelines of his official visit to Britain, Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, Wednesday, participated in a seminar at the Royal Institute for International Affairs known for its acronym Chatham House, during which he addressed a number of political and economic issues.

Masrour Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, said: Since the beginning of the nineties of the last century, we have official institutions from the government and parliament, and the PKK came to our areas and does not respect the constitutional entity of the region or its borders.

On the other hand, Masrour Barzani renewed his call for the PKK to leave the territory of the Kurdistan Region, describing the relations between the region and Turkey as "normal."

The Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government continued: Instead of fighting on their lands, they came to us, and we did our best to solve this issue, but the continuation of the battles of the PKK and Turkey affects us severely.

Masrour Barzani indicated that there are 800 villages whose residents cannot return to them due to the ongoing conflict between the PKK and Turkey.

Barzani stressed that the best option is for the PKK to leave the lands of the Kurdistan Region, exercise its activities in its regions, and solve its problems there, away from the Kurdistan Region.
