The Freedom and Peace Front congratulates the Kurdish people on Newroz

ARK News… On March 21 of each year, the Kurdish people celebrate their national day, Newroz, which represents the meaning of the struggle for freedom and liberation from injustice.

Eleven years have passed since the Syrian revolution, in which the sacrifices of all Syrians were mixed. The Kurdish people were proactive in adopting the revolution and declaring their full solidarity with the Syrian people who are revolting against the regime of criminality, tyranny, and corruption, the Kurdish uprising in 2004 was the first spark of the revolution. Through his long and arduous struggle, he was exposed to all attempts to obliterate his national identity, smelting, and denial of his rights and exceptional racist projects. Still, all of this did not deter this person from demanding their legitimate rights by all possible means and increased their strength and determination to adhere to and revive their national holiday.

Newroz is upon us this year in light of the complex international, regional, and catastrophic humanitarian conditions that Syria is going through as a result of the devastating years of war under a tyrannical regime that empowers its people with killing, abuse, and destruction of the cities and towns revolting against it. All this in light of the complete silence of the international community towards the Syrian tragedy, and the failure to assume its responsibilities towards it, which the country has reached in terms of destruction of infrastructure, and the displacement of more than half of the Syrian people between displaced and refugees, not to mention hundreds of thousands of martyrs, detainees and forcibly disappeared, and the solution has failed. The political continuation of the regime and its evasion of abiding by UN resolutions, especially Resolution 2254, and the rounds of the Constitutional Committee is an excellent example of that.

We, in the Peace and Freedom Front, seize the occasion of Newroz and call upon our Syrian people with all its components to close ranks and cohesion, to overcome the state of disintegration, dispersal, and dependence, to raise the level of its performance, and to put pressure on this criminal regime to force it to fully implement international resolutions and to place the international community before its moral and legal responsibilities to set an end to this regime's disregard for the fate of the Syrian people, exerting pressures to compel it to write a new constitution for the future Syria that guarantees the rights of all components and the return of the displaced and to find a political solution through the umbrella of the United Nations to end the era of tyranny and injustice in Syria, and to build a democratic, pluralistic, decentralized state that achieves security and prosperity for all Syrians. The necessity of celebrating national holidays for all components of the Syrian people.

We are on the Freedom and Peace Front, as it congratulates the Kurdish people and all Syrians on this national holiday, and wishes to achieve peace, stability, and justice throughout Syria and the world.
