The Kurdish National Council meets with the representative of the US State Department

ARK News… A delegation from the presidency of the Kurdish National Council in Syria, on Thursday, the seventeenth of March met with Mr. Matt Burrell, the representative of the US State Department

who confirmed that there is no change in the position of the US administration on Syria and the importance of a political solution according to 2254. He also presented the results of their meetings in the Kurdistan region and the region. He stated that easing Caesar’s sanctions in this region would help in the development and alleviate the suffering of the people, and made it clear that the Kurdish dialogue was a priority in the attention of the US administration.

For his part, the council delegation stressed the importance of activating the political process and reviewed the suffering of the people in these circumstances, and hoped that the American efforts would bear fruit in alleviating them, as well as the ongoing violations of the right of the council and the arrest of its members and the necessity of their release, and called for the implementation of and adherence to the signed guarantees document.
