Once again, the city of Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, was subjected to a terrorist attack by targeting the American consulate and the headquarters of Kurdistan 24 channel, in addition to targeting some areas near residential neighborhoods, causing material damage, without recording any loss of life.

This attack is the tenth in two years, but it is remarkable that it came from a known source outside the Iraqi borders, after the Iranian Revolutionary Guards adopted the attack under false pretexts, in flagrant violation of the sovereignty of all of Iraq, and at the same time it is a political message aimed at striking the state of peaceful coexistence security and stability in the region, and it is the safest part in Iraq, in addition to that it aims to sabotage the efforts of the Iraqi political parties to find a way out and a solution to the impasse in the political process, the benefits of the presidency, and the great role of the leadership of the region in the success of the political process in the country.

We are on the Peace and Freedom Front, while we condemn in the strongest terms this cowardly terrorist attack, which targeted the peaceful city of Erbil after midnight on Sunday. All efforts to protect the state of security and stability in the region.

We affirm that these actions will not discourage the determination and will of the people of Kurdistan and their leadership to move towards their national goals and policies at the level of Iraq.
