ARK News: A Human Rights Organization working to document violations in the Kurdish region of Afrin reported on its main page of Facebook, on Sunday, 14.10.2021, that members of the Military Police militia in Rajo, on Wednesday, 13/10/2021, kidnapped the citizen Muhammad Abdo Youssef from the village of Masaka of Rajo town without stating the reasons or bringing any charges against him, and took him to an unknown destination without knowing his fate so far.

The Organization added that the military police in the Mabata town, on Tuesday 12/10/2021, kidnapped the citizen Abdul Fattah Ibish from the village of Qantare, for the purpose of material extortion and collecting the ransom and accusing him of participating in the burial ceremony and transporting the Kurdish citizens to the graves of the martyrs by his bus, during the rule of the de facto authority” the former PYD Administration.

The Organization also added that members of the Ahrar al-Sharqiya militia in Rajo town, on Friday, 08/10/2021, kidnapped citizens for the purpose of material extortion and ransom collection without any charges being brought against them. They are:
- Nazir Muhammad Tobal, from the village of Hajj Khalil
- Salah Othman Akash from the village of Masaka
They were taken to an unknown destination without knowing their fate so far.

Noting that on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, the same elements kidnapped the citizen, Nazir Sabri Saleh, from the village of Atmana, for the purpose of financial extortion, after he opened several shops, and they expressed their willingness to accuse him of any pretexts and flimsy pretexts if he did not accept the payment of a sum of 500 US dollars for his release.
