Derik... The Kurdish National Council (ENKS) calls for a demonstration against the decisions of the PYD administration

ARK News… The local council of ENKS in Derik called on the Kurdish people to participate in the popular demonstration, on Friday, September 24, 2021, in front of the council’s office at five o’clock in the afternoon.
The text of the invitation follows:

Open invitation
Based on a decision of the Kurdish National Council in Syria, we invite all the masses in the Derik region and its countryside and all its components to attend a mass sit-in in protest against the increase in the price of diesel by the so-called self-management, its repercussions and its impact on the living reality of citizens who are already suffering from difficult living and economic conditions, not to mention that decision unfair to the citizens.
The protest is under the following slogans:
1- No to arrests - freedom for detainees
2- No to raise fuel prices
3- No to imposing royalties on citizens
4- No to raising the price of bread
