Nechirvan Barzani visits the Royal Academy of Sand Hurst and meets Kurdish students

ARK News… On his last visit to London, His Excellency Mr. Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region, on Friday evening, September 17, 2021, visited the British Royal Military Academy Sand Hurst the largest military academies known at the global level, where a number of students of the Kurdistan Region and Iraq are engaged in their studies, upbringing, preparation, and training.

Academy officials presented to President Nechirvan Barzani an overview of the work and tasks of this academic and military institution, which is considered as academic and field military commanders and officers, and talked about a program that benefits Iraq and the Kurdistan Region includes participants from most countries of the world and develops alongside the academic study the training and physical exercise of the participants.

For his part, His Excellency President Nechirvan Barzani stressed the importance and necessity of the Kurdistan Region's participation and benefit, within the framework of Iraq, of these opportunities. In a meeting with the Iraqi participants, and then a special meeting with the participants from the Kurdistan Region, His Excellency blessed the participants, wishing them success. He returned their participation as important and of interest on the part of the Kurdistan Region, expressing hope for the continuation and increase of participation from the Kurdistan Region, thanking the British government for providing this opportunity.

At the conclusion of the visit, His Excellency President Nechirvan Barzani wrote a note in the diary of the personalities, visitors, and guests of the Academy, and praised the Academy's officials.
