Student Union: Despite the pressures and obstacles, we have made great strides in serving students and youth

ARK News… On the eighth anniversary of its founding, Students and Youth Union Democratic Kurdistani - West, issued a statement in which it affirmed that: “It has made great strides in serving students and youth despite the pressures, obstacles and the difficult situation in Syrian Kurdistan and the locations of its organizations”, adding: “We continue to emphasize and you the importance of this organization as an urgent historical necessity to gather youth energies, and to advance the environment of youth and students in Syrian Kurdistan.” ARK received a copy of the statement that stated:

We live with students and youth in Syrian Kurdistan the joy and national commitment on the eleventh of September every year. We consider the eleventh of September of each year a qualitative leap in terms of the rights of youth and students. Where the anniversary of the founding of the Student and Youth Union of Democratic Kurdistani - West, and we chose this date, 11/09, because of its importance and greatness in the history of the Kurdish liberation revolutions, where the glorious September revolution, and an affirmation and commitment from us to the approach of the immortal Barzani.
Men and women comrades.

After a group of students and youth in Syrian Kurdistan decided to gather in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, to declare September 11, 2013, a historic day in announcing the emergence of an organization under the name (Students and Youth Union of Democratic Kurdistani - West). It is the eighth anniversary of the birth of our organization, which has made great strides in serving students and youth and advancing the environment of youth and students in Syrian Kurdistan to attract students and youth and employ their energies, organize and consolidate them in the service of the people of Syrian Kurdistan.

It is the first student youth organization that emerged from the womb of the need to include the energies of youth and students, and the owners of expertise and university and academic certificates, so our organization began and is still interested and concerned with the concerns and problems of students and youth and standing by their proposals and opinions, which works on the foundations of youth advancement to achieve all their legitimate hopes, desires and aspirations. He believes in the Kurdish approach, the immortal Barzani approach, based on a well-established base in the struggle.

Young people and students:

We live with you the anniversary of the establishment of our organization with a set of concerns and aspirations, the most important and first of which is: the increasing immigration of young people and students, which increases the fears of exacerbating the waves of immigration, as a result of the dire economic and living situation in the region. The importance of the Kurdish language as the most prominent carrier and essence of the Kurdish identity and national existence in Syria.

On this occasion, we extend, on behalf of the leadership of the Student and Youth Union of Democratic Kurdistani - West, our sincere thanks to all Kurdish media, channels, websites, and workers in the fields of writers and journalism; for their support and assistance, they have all our thanks, gratitude, and appreciation.

We pledge to everyone to move forward in the service of students and youth, provided that we remain fighters and sacrifice for the noble goal for which our Union was founded.
