A meeting with elite intellectuals and national figures in a number of European countries

ARK News… The European Representation of the Kurdish National Council held a virtual seminar, attended by a number of intellectuals, national figures, and those interested in political affairs in Syria in general and the Kurdish issue in particular in Britain, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, France, and the Netherlands via a social network on Saturday 4-9-2021, the seminar was attended by the presidency of the Kurdish National Council, Ms. Fasla Youssef, member of the Presidency of the Council, the head of the European Representative of the Kurdish National Council, Abdul Karim Haji, and a number of members of the representation.

After standing for a minute of silence for the souls of the martyrs of the Kurds and Kurdistan and the martyrs of the Syrian revolution, the meeting began by welcoming the representative of the Presidency and the attendance, and then gave the opportunity to Mrs. Youssef to talk about a number of issues and developments related to the political situation in Syria, both nationally and Kurdish, according to the following themes:

1- The obstruction of the solution paths in Syria as a result of the unlimited support of Russia and Iran to the dictatorial regime and the imposition of more arbitrary measures such as bombing and displacement of innocent citizens who oppose it.
2- The dialogues taking place between the Kurdish National Council and the PYNK parties
3- The PYD administration continues to kidnap and prosecute Council members and supporters.
3- The return of the American ambassador and his meeting with the Kurdish National Council.
4- Statements issued by the leaders of the PYD against the Kurdish National Council.
5- The insistence of the National Council on the necessity of uniting the Kurdish ranks at this critical stage.
6- The continuation of looting and various types of violations against our people in Afrin, Gire Spi, and Serê Kaniye, and the necessity of the return of the displaced and migrants to their areas.

After Mrs. Fasla Youssef finished her lecture, the space was opened for dialogue and discussion on the most important issues and political developments in the Kurdish and Syrian arena, and those who contributed to the success of this virtual meeting, and this meeting lasted for more than three hours.
