The political report of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria for the month of August
ARK News… The political report of the Kurdistan Democratic Party – Syria, on Saturday, September 4, 2021, was issued for the month of August, in which it discussed the latest political and field developments.
The political report, as ARK received a copy of it, stated:
The Afghanistan event topped the international and regional media, and what will happen after the withdrawal of US forces, and how does the international community deal with the emerging situation in the region? Can this happen in both Iraq and Syria, or is the situation different? Especially since there are assurances from the American side that its forces will remain in Iraq according to the strategic agreement between the "Iraqi and American" sides, and so in Syria, where terrorism, especially ISIS, has not ended, and perhaps one of the American goals in withdrawing its forces from Afghanistan is to invite the parties to political Islam itself. and Hezbollah.
On the side of the Syrian crisis, the political solution through the international community and in accordance with Resolution “2254” and the reference of Geneva 1 seems that diplomatic efforts and endeavors have been stalled for a long time and that what is happening in the Syrian reality is through the interactions of the forces and parties present in Syria, including “America, Russia, Turkey, Iran..." and the resulting consensus sometimes and differences at other times.
America seeks to isolate Iran, whether internationally, in Syria, or at the regional level, and Turkey seeks consensus in its interests between Russia and its Western allies, primarily America. At the same time, there are those who see the features of an American-Russian consensus towards a political solution to the Syrian crisis.
As for Iraq, as a neighboring country to Syria, seeks to provide climates of political stability with the countries themselves, and at the internal level as well and between the various political and societal forces and blocs, and it is on the verge of the parliamentary elections scheduled to take place on the tenth of next October.
As for the Kurdistan Region, too, is preparing to contest these Iraqi elections vigorously, and seeks to be a factor of stability for the whole of Iraq and for the people of Kurdistan in particular, and for this reason, it works diligently from the beginning to resolve the issues of dispute between Baghdad and Erbil, especially the issue of Kirkuk and the Kurdish areas outside the administration of the region, subject of Article 140 From the Iraqi constitution and the arrangement of the Kurdistan House by achieving consensus between the political forces and parties, at the forefront of which are the two main parties, "the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan."
As for Western Kurdistan, the areas of Afrin, Serê Kaniye “Ras al-Ain” and Gire Spi “Tal Abyad” are still witnessing acts of looting, arbitrary arrest, and various types of violations against our people in those areas, but there are efforts to facilitate the return of the displaced and displaced from the original residents of Afrin to their areas, and the flow of Families to return despite all kinds of obstacles and royalties in that, and the people called it the Intifada to return to Afrin.
Regarding the resumption of negotiations between the Kurdish National Council “ENKS” and the National Unity Parties “PYNK”, the obstacles created by the “PYD ” still exist due to its practices in violation of the pledge document signed by the American ambassador, Mr. David Brownstein, and the leader of the “SDF” Mr. Mazloum Abdi to prevent the recurrence of violations against the Council, its parties and components, however, continue to be stronger, with the arrest of members of the Council and its party comrades, as well as the burning of offices.
