Macron meets with the family of Peshmerga martyr Hucam Surchi
ARK News… French President Emmanuel Macron, on Sunday, met with the family of the Peshmerga martyr Hucam Surchi, as part of his visit to the Kurdistan Region.
Omar Hucam, one of the sons of the martyr Hucam Surchi, said: "We are scheduled to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron at 11:00 in the Presidency of the Kurdistan Region."
He added, "My father lost his life in defense of the land and dignity of the Kurdistan Region, so we asked the French president during the meeting to support the Peshmerga forces and the Kurdistan Region, and we assured him that if he continued to support the Kurds and the Kurdistan Region, the spirit of my father and the souls of all the martyrs of Kurdistan would enjoy comfort and peace."
The martyr Hucam Abdul Rahman Khaddar Surchi was born in 1970 in the village of Barda Sor in the Rovia town in the Bardarash district. He joined the Peshmerga in 1991 and was martyred on 25/1/2015 at the hands of ISIS terrorists in a brutal manner.
