Sheikho to ARK: "More than 400 families have returned to Afrin"
ARK News… Kurdish activist Mustafa Sheikho said, on Tuesday, August 23, 2021, that hundreds of Kurdish families have recently returned to the Afrin region in Syrian Kurdistan.
Mustafa Sheikho, an activist who hails from the city of Afrin, said in statements while participating in the ARK bulletin: More than 400 families have recently returned to the city of Afrin and its towns and villages.
Sheikho added: Despite the obstacles and difficulties, the Kurdish displaced return almost daily to the area. He pointed out that most of the returnees came from al-Shahba camps in the countryside of Aleppo, and the neighborhoods of Aleppo such as Sheikh Maqsoud and Masharieh, and from Lebanon.
