The Youth Organization of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in Western Kurdistan (Syrian Kurdistan), known as "Ciwanên Şoreşger", kidnapped a 15-year-old girl from Qamishlo city.

An informed source from Al-Tay neighborhood in Qamishlo city told (BasNews) that "a girl disappeared about 10 days ago, and since her family has been searching for her with the security authorities in the PYD Administration."

The source added, on Saturday, the family learned that their daughter is with the "Ciwanên Şoreşger", an organization without being able to see her after the organization refused this on the pretext that the child came to them of her own volition." The source reserved the name of the girl in order to preserve her safety, noting that she is from the Arab component of the people of the Al-Tay neighborhood in the city.

The PYD Administration took control of the Al-Tay neighborhood in late February of this year, after battles between its forces and the National Defense Militia of the Syrian regime.

Ciwanên Şoreşger organization focuses on adolescents to deceive them by feeding them intellectually with the politics and ideology of the PKK, to send them later to the party's camps in Qandil and Shingal (Sinjar) and to engage them in its absurd battles later.

Kurdish observers and activists claim that the PKK poses a great danger to childhood and its future in its areas of control, as it assassinates their innocence and violates their rights by exploiting them militarily and politically and plunging them into its futile wars.

Kurdish observers and activists from Western Kurdistan on Friday confirmed that the PKK and its branches had recently opened a new center for the recruitment of minor children in the Derik area, east of Qamishlo, where the party recruits minors through its "Revolutionary Youth" arm, and in Shingal, it kidnaps children through its so-called arm of (Shangal Protection Units), which receive military and financial support from the Iranian-backed Popular Mobilization Forces.

Training camps for minors are spread in the village of Tel Mozan in the Amouda region of Qamishlo countryside, as well as the Kabka camp in the southern countryside of Qamishlo, and another camp in Tel Rifaat in the northern countryside of Aleppo, a camp in Sheikh Maqsoud in the city of Aleppo, another camp in Kobani, and other secret camps, these centers include hundreds of children, according to these observers.
