Condemnation from the coalition regarding the statements of SDF leaders against the Kurdistan Region

ARK News… the National Coalition of Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces, on Monday, August 2, 2021, condemned the threats of the Syrian Democratic Forces against the Kurdistan Region, which support the Kurdistan Workers Party.

The recent statements, accusations, and threats made by a leader in the PYD militias came to confirm the affiliation of these militias and their membership relationship with the terrorist organization of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

These statements and threats against the Kurdistan region of Iraq represent a great danger, as they represent an attack and a threat to Syria's neighbors, and involve the Syrian Kurds in external battles that contradict their interest and the common Syrian national interest.

Terrorist and intruder agendas cannot participate in building the nation, as their crimes are repeated, whether related to repression and terrorism against civilians, or crimes of displacement, arrest, enforced disappearance, and forced conscription.

The National Coalition confirms its rejection and denunciation of the silent countries' positions on terrorist organizations that still receive support, funding, and armament, and renews the call for the abolition, dismantling, and expulsion of terrorist groups and militias and the expulsion of foreign fighters from Syria.
