Nafie Bero: The QSD leaders are PKK cadres, so there is nothing new in the recent statements

ARK News… Nafie Bero, a member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, said that the leaders of the QSD are among the cadres of the PKK, and therefore the recent statements are not strange, but what is striking is that they began to show to the public what they were trying to hide.

In exclusive statements to ARK News, Bero said: Since the beginning of the Syrian crisis, the PKK has transferred its military and economic experience to Syrian Kurdistan, and instructed its cadres to cross and supervise the administrations they received from the Syrian regime under a hand-over agreement.

He added: It started in the tasks assigned to it, so it was killed, imprisoned, exiled, and displaced until the largest part of Syrian Kurdistan was emptied of its Kurds, and it spared no effort in implementing the policies of the Baath and completing the project of the notorious Muhammad Talab Hilal, and it succeeded to a large extent in completing the plan and implementing the items that the aforementioned failed to achieve, just as the PKK did in Kurdistan Turkey and emptied the Kurdish issue from its national dimension, and the result was its inclusion on the US and European terrorism list.

Bero stressed: Their continuous attack on the Kurdistan Region in general, and the Democratic Party and the Peshmerga, in particular, is part of the mission entrusted to them by the usurping countries of Kurdistan with the aim of undermining the aspirations and hopes of the Kurds because these countries cannot launch attacks openly and directly on the Kurdistan Region because of sensitivity of international conditions as well as the constitutional status of the Region.

Bero explained: Their recent media statements are a clear message to all those who put their heads in the sand and bet on the impartiality of the QSD leadership’s position regarding the file of dialogues between the National Council and the so-called National Unity Parties, and are looking for a justification to show a positive role for SQSD leaders on occasion and inappropriately and forget that these are themselves. The leaders of the PKK operating according to the agendas of the usurpers of Kurdistan.

Mahmoud Rash, a military leader in the Syrian Democratic Forces, QSD, said days ago in a television interview in which he openly expressed his loyalty to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), saying: They, as QSD, will not stand idly by from the events taking place in the Kurdistan Region, and they will stand with the PKK in its war against the Peshmerga forces of Kurdistan.

PKK gunmen have recently launched attacks against the Peshmerga forces in the Kurdistan Region. The gunmen attacked twice in late July, Lieutenant-General Jamal Eminki, Chief of Staff of the Peshmerga forces, said in televised statements: The PKK gunmen are exploiting the position of President Masoud Barzani, who has forbidden Kurdish-Kurdish fighting, but this does not mean that we raise the flag of surrender in the face of the attacks of the PKK gunmen, stressing: We will respond strongly if our forces are attacked by the PKK gunmen.
