A meeting between the ENKS Presidential Body with a number of Kurdish intellectuals and political activists in Europe

ARK News… The European Representation of the Kurdish National Council organized a virtual political meeting in which it brought together the representative of the Presidency of the Kurdish National Council with a group of intellectuals, writers and national figures interested in political affairs in Switzerland, Austria, and Belgium on Saturday, July 31, 2021, online via a social networking page, Mr. Namat Daoud and a number of members of the European representation of the Kurdish National Council participated in this meeting

The meeting began after welcoming the representative of the Presidential Body of the Kurdish National Council and all the participants to stand a minute of silence for the souls of the martyrs of the Syrian revolution and Kurdistan, then, Mr. Namat Dawoud was given the opportunity to review many of the emerging issues in the Syrian and Kurdish areas according to the following axes:

- The Syrian crisis and its continuity despite the many marathon meetings between the regional and international countries in Syria, and the siege imposed on the people of Daraa by the Syrian regime.

- Extrapolation of the ongoing dialogue between the Kurdish National Council and the Kurdish National Unity Parties after the arrests of a number of members of the Kurdish National Council parties and the martyrdom of a number of young people in the PYD Administration intelligence prisons.

- The relationship of the Kurdish National Council with the Syrian opposition in general and the coalition in particular.

- The continuation of violations and demographic change in Afrin, Seri Kaniye, and Gire Spi without any breakthrough in this matter.

Then the way for dialogue and discussion was opened on the most important issues and political developments in the Kurdish arena, which contributed to the success of this meeting, and made many interventions and proposals regarding the development of the Kurdish National Council and activating its role at home and abroad, and many questions were asked related to the main axes of this political meeting, and this meeting lasted two hours.

The European representation of the Kurdish National Council continues to hold these useful meetings, which contribute to creating an important atmosphere for dialogue between the Kurdish National Council and the Kurdish community in Europe.
