A statement from the PDK - S about the circumstances of the martyrdom of Amin Isa Amin in the prisons of the PYD

ARK NEWS… In continuation of their intimidating practices, armed men of the PYD committed a heinous crime against comrade Amin Isa Amin Al-Ali, member of the Branch Council of our Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, who was martyred as a result of the severe torture he was subjected to in their detention.

After examining his body, it was found that there were signs of brutal torture, fractures in various parts of his body, blow to the knees and neck with harsh tools, and the use of incendiary cautery, in addition to burns extending from the back of the head to the end of the spine with hot oil, according to neutral medical reports, in a dangerous precedent that only criminals commit. It is worth noting that the victim was summoned on May 22, 2021, by the armed forces of the Democratic Union Party, and then arrested by a patrol affiliated with their gunmen, and was transferred to the prisons of the so-called Military Prosecution of the PYD, where he was martyred.

The commission of this heinous crime at a time when international efforts in general and the US, in particular, are continuing with the aim of resuming negotiations for the unity of the Kurdish position between the Kurdish National Council (ENKS) and the Kurdish National Unity Parties (PYNK), is a bad negative message on the part of their Autonomous Administration in this field.

We in the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, at a time when we strongly condemn this barbaric and cowardly act, and this heinous crime, we demand the American side, as a sponsor and guarantor of the negotiations of unity, to shoulder its responsibilities, respecting its commitments regarding stopping these criminal acts, as well as calling on international human rights organizations to intervene and investigate the circumstances of this heinous crime, and hold those responsible to account, and lifting the lid on the killers who committed this cowardly act, and presenting them to a public, transparent trial with international monitoring, so that the killers do not escape their just punishment, because this crime is a dangerous precedent, a flagrant violation of international covenants, and contrary to human values.

It is important to emphasize here that the fabricated medical reports by the officials of the PYD administration aimed at blurring and concealing the features of this crime are to cover up the criminals who committed this cowardly act.
