A leader in the PDK-S meets with Professor Kinyaz Ibrahim in Cologne

ARK News… A member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria PDK-S Nafie Biro met on Sunday, June 6, 2021, in the German city of Cologne, with the Kurdish academic, Professor Kinyaz Ibrahim Mirzayev, head of the Kurdish community in the republics of the former Soviet Union.

In the meeting, which lasted for more than an hour at his place of residence, Mr. Bero touched upon the most important hot topics on the Syrian and Kurdish areas, in particular the Kurdish-Kurdish talks, and the obstacles they face, and conveyed to him the wishes of the party secretary, Mr. Saud Mulla, for his recovery, reassurance of his health condition and arranging what is necessary for the party to communicate with Kurdish academic figures in Russia, Central Asian countries and the Caucasus, and stressed the importance of their great role in supplying the Kurdish library with dozens of books and literature on the Kurdish language, literature, and history, as well as in Kurdish art and music.

In turn, Professor Kinyaz affirmed his support for all issues of Kurdistan and the Kurdish issue in Syrian Kurdistan in his talks with Russian officials and other republics, and he touched upon his meeting with Mr. Mikhail Bogdanov, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia during the Turkish attack on Afrin, and also emphasized his continuous communication with President Masoud Barzani on crucial issues, and spoke that in a meeting of representatives of national minorities with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, he asked the President of the Republic and the Kazakh government to support the results of the referendum and the independence of Kurdistan.

It is noteworthy that Professor Kinyaz Ibrahim, who holds a doctorate in Kurdish literature, is a linguist and Kurdish writer who has more than 55 books in literature and oriental and comparative languages, especially comparing Kurdish literature with oriental literature, and held a number of scientific and governmental positions, including President of the University of Almaty, Head of the Department of Oriental Literature, Vice President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and President of the Kurdish Berbang Association in Kazakhstan. He is now the head of a confederation of the Kurdish community in Russia and resides in Almaty, the "old" capital of Kazakhstan, and a few days ago he came to Germany for a short visit to conduct some medical analyzes and receive treatment.
