ARK News… While the PYD claims to boycott the elections of the Bashar al-Assad regime, propaganda campaigns continue in the cities of Syrian Kurdistan, while supporters have come out in the neighborhoods under its control in the Syrian neighborhoods of Aleppo.

Informed sources from the predominantly Kurdish neighborhoods of Aleppo said in statements to ARK News: The propaganda campaigns and pro-marches are continuing in the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiya neighborhoods. Adding: that a march took place in the Ashrafiya neighborhood, in which the flags of the Syrian regime were raised and pictures of Bashar al-Assad were raised to the sway of Kurdish rhythms.

In connection, activists published pictures on social networking sites showing banners and pictures of Bashar al-Assad in the center of the city of Amouda in Syrian Kurdistan, with the inscription: “Provided by the people of Amouda,” which caused discontent among the people of Syrian Kurdistan, especially the people of Amouda, who are considered the first to break the wall of fear and toppled the statue of Hafez al-Assad in the uprising in 2004 and the beginning of the events in Syria 2011.

The Syrian Democratic Forces SDF issued a statement Monday claiming that it is not concerned with the elections of the Bashar al-Assad regime, while activists confirm that the propaganda campaigns of Bashar al-Assad are continuing in the cities under the control of the PYD administration.
