An officer in the Kurdistan Peshmerga Forces completed two important military training courses in the United States, which lasted 8 months, and was unique among his peers in this regard at the level of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.

The Ministry of Peshmerga said in a statement, on Friday, that within the framework of the training program provided by the coalition to the Peshmerga forces in the war against ISIS, which includes training courses outside the country as well, and after he successfully fulfilled many conditions such as an English language test, Major Ayoub Muhammad Amin was chosen from the Department Transport to join two 8-month training courses in America, in Transportation and Military Leadership.

The statement added, that after the Kurdish officer completed the two training courses in two different American states, he obtained a certificate in the military language and another in the military transport command, to put his experiences in the service of the Kurdistan Peshmerga.

For his part, Major Ayoub Muhammad Amin said that he was the first and only officer at the level of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region to participate in these training courses, along with officers from the countries of the Alliance and NATO.
