Qushtapa camp... Roj Organization honors the journalist Ali Omar
ARK News… In the one hundred twenty-third year, the Roj Organization of the Kurdistan Democratic Party – Syria, on April 22, 2021, honored Ali Omar in the Qushtapa camp in the countryside of Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, for his tireless activity in serving the Kurdish media
The Roj Organization of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria said: “On the occasion of the Kurdish Press Day, and by 123 years since that anniversary, the Roj Organization / Qushtapa branch honored the journalist Ali Omar with a shield, for his tireless activity in serving the media aimed at raising awareness and raising the morale of our masses of the immortal Barzani approach fans”.
The organization added: "Our cadres in Qushtapa gave him a memorial shield as an expression of our thanks to him for his efforts."
Ali Omar is a journalist from the city of Qamishlo, Kurdistan, Syria. He started his media career in his city, Qamishlo, at the party’s media office. He also documented many events and activities that were taking place in the cities of Syrian Kurdistan.
After moving to Kurdistan Region, he worked for years on Rojava News and ARK Channel. He is currently working as an anchor and editor for Kurdish and Arabic news for Radio Rebaz.
He currently lives with his family in the Qushtapa camp for Syrian Kurdish refugees in the countryside of Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.
