Condemnation about the storming of the PDK-S office in Girke Lake by PYD militants

ARK News… The General Secretariat of the Kurdish National Council in Syria, on Saturday, April 17, 2021, issued a statement condemning the storming on the office of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria in the town of Girke Lake of Derik in Syrian Kurdistan ARK received a copy of the statement stating:

a masked armed group affiliated with the PYD and its management, on Friday, April 16, 2021, stormed the office of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, a member of the Kurdish National Council, in a brutal manner and exposed the comrades presenting in the office to insulting them and then taking their phones and returning them after providing them with tapping programs.

This condemned immoral act comes as a continuation of the previous violations against the council’s offices, parties and cadres, and confirms their disregard for the promises made by the SDF leadership to put an end to these violations that target the Kurdish dialogue and spread the spirit of authoritarianism and despair among people.

The Kurdish National Council strongly condemns these violations and demands the leadership of the SDF once again to abide by the promises it made in this field, hold those responsible to account, prevent these terrorist practices and put a final end to them, as the masses of our people realize their purpose.
