ARK News… The Kurdish jurist and poet Ali Ramadan Ali lost his life on Thursday morning, January 28, 2021, after suffering a heart attack, in the Chil Agha town of Derik countryside in Syrian Kurdistan.

The late poet and writer Ali Ramadan Abu Dira’h, known as "Ali Chil Agha", was born in the village of Girke Khalo, 1969, and he was a resident of Chil Agha town, a graduate of the Faculty of Law in Aleppo.

The late was a member of the Area Committee of the Kurdish Democratic Unity Party in Syria (Yekity), and he is the younger brother of the secretary of the leadership body of the same party Hajar Ali.

The late Ali Ramadan began his literary career in writing poetry in 1980, and he has a literary production in the field of poetry, essay, story and novel, literary research in his mother tongue in addition to Arabic, he has two collections of poetry printed in the Kurdish language, namely (Arya and Heyas), and two books in print, in addition to dozens of articles in newspapers and social networking sites.

Ali had also finished writing two novels in the Kurdish and Arabic languages, which were being printed. He was greatly influenced by his older brother Hajar in learning the mother tongue.
