Qamishlo… Gas is available in the black market and lost at the Komins
ARK News… Social media, on Thursday, 1/7/2020, circulated a video clip of a street in the city of Qamishlo in Syrian Kurdistan showing queues of people waiting for the turn to get a cylinder of gas.
According to some sources, reported to ARK News, that the city of "Qamishlo" in Syrian Kurdistan has been suffering from severe interruption of gas cylinders in some neighborhoods of the city for more than two months, amid the PYD's neglect of the suffering of the people in providing domestic gas.
These sources added, "The gas distribution operations in the city take on the nature of randomness and favoritism from those with influence and authority, who receive gas cylinders without any suffering, while civilians and the poor stand for long hours in large lines without getting a cylinder of gas.
The sources confirmed to ARK News that gas is very available on the black market, but at a high price, as the price of a gas cylinder reaches 8 thousand Syrian pounds.
