Damascus: The head of the Doctors' Syndicate reveals the death of 130 doctors, most of whom are due to the "Coronavirus"

ARK News… Pro-media sources reported statements issued by "Kamal Amer", the head of the regime's Doctors Syndicate, during which he revealed the death of 130 doctors during the last period, 100 of whom were confirmed dead due to "Coronavirus".

Amer pointed out that about 30 doctors had died due to other diseases, but some of them were suspected of having the epidemic without being diagnosed, revealing that a large percentage of doctors had been infected without specifying the percentage or number of those who were infected, during his statements.

He pointed out that Damascus had the largest share of doctors who died from the Coronavirus, then Aleppo, and then Homs, indicating that all provinces lost doctors without exception, saying: “Syria is losing its medical cadres.”

He stated that some doctors do not have complete preventive measures such as the special dress that is used while entering the intensive care unit, and this is available to doctors who only enter the care room, according to his description.

He talked about the union’s intention to raise the basic medical tariff and stated that the inflation caused by the economic blockade, war, and the Caesar Act negatively affected the health situation, whether public or private, according to his claim.

The doctors' Syndicate of the regime had condoled a number of doctors simultaneously, which reveals a great confusion amid the continued neglect of disclosure of the true number of deaths, which is certainly more than what the Assad regime announced.

The head of the Doctors Syndicate in the areas of the regime previously spoke through statements reported by a pro-newspaper about the reasons for the increase in deaths among medical personnel, which he summarized as stress and lack of means of protection, without addressing the role of the regime neglecting the medical sector.

A few days ago, local pages published a list of the names of 151 doctors who died affected by their infection with Coronavirus, referring to the escalating death of doctors, pharmacists, and nurses in the regime's hospitals, which have turned into a source of spreading the epidemic in what followers describe as "human slaughterhouses", due to the medical negligence inside them, according to identical sources.
