Russia takes back 19 ISIS orphans in camps in northeastern Syria
ARK News… The Russian Commissioner for Children's Rights, Anna Kuznetsova Saturday announced the return of 19 Russian children who were in Syria to their country, Russia.
Kuznetsova said that a plane belonging to the Russian Defense Ministry landed at the "Chkalovsky" military airport on the outskirts of Moscow, carrying 19 children between the ages of 3 and 15 years. The official explained that the talks are about children who were taken out from the "al-Hol" and "Roj" refugee camps, which are under the control of the SDF.
Kuznetsova added that after the children were subjected to mandatory medical examinations, they would be handed over to their relatives residing in four Russian regions, which are the republics of Bashkortostan and Dagestan, and the provinces of Saratov and Kemerovo.
Kuznetsova indicated that the authorities have ready papers for 96 Russian children currently residing in refugee camps in Syria.
Russia is one of the most frequent countries that brought families and children back belonging to ISIS from Iraq and Syria.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Syrian regime, Faisal al-Miqdad, said during his meeting with Anna Kuznetsova that "other countries wishing to take out their children and citizens from al-Hol camp must do so in full coordination and cooperation with the Syrian state." However, the truth is that no one is coordinating with the regime, but only with the QSD.
