ARK News… A German court in Chamendorf city fined a Syrian husband 1,000 euros to be paid in installments, in addition to a sentence of 9 months imprisonment, suspended for a period of 3 years, according to the German website UNITS, on Saturday.

According to the website, the court’s decision came after “he assaulted his wife by beating his wife and tried to return his children to Syria against his wife's will,” noting that the wife refused to allow her husband to take the children and hid the passports of her children.

The website added that the wife fled to the basement of their house, so the husband followed her and started beating her, so the wife went and filed a complaint against him to the German court.

According to the site, after the incident, the wife refused to reconcile with her husband and decided to separate from him, which prompted the husband to leave the house and stay with one of his friends, while the German judiciary allowed him to see his children one day a week.
