Condolences on Facebook leads to an Imam of a Mosque in Prison in Izaz city

ARK News… The Military Police in the city of "Izaz" in the northern countryside of Aleppo arrested Sheikh "Abdurrahman al-Sidair" from his home on Friday, against the background of a comment in which he expressed condolences for the death of the Mufti of the regime in Damascus and its countryside, "Adnan Al-Afyouni", who was killed Thursday after his car was bombed in the "Qudsaya" area in Damascus countryside last Thursday.

Al-Sidair had commented on the news of the death of the Al-Afyouni sheik, “May God grant you the best of your condolences, redeem your affliction, have mercy on your deceased, accept it in the righteous, and gather it under the banner of our master Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, in the seat of truth with Malik Muqtadir.

Al-Sidari is a sheik and a former Imam in the city of Maarat al-Numan in Idlib countryside, before he became the Imam of the “Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq” mosque in “Izaz”, in addition to the position of head of the Center for Combating Thought and Terrorism and works in the Department of Moral Guidance.
