ARK News… On Friday, October 16, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, said that the situation in Kirkuk and the rest of the Kurdish regions outside the administration of the Kurdistan Region, or the so-called (disputed) region, is currently "unacceptable."

The Kurdistan Region yesterday remembered painfully, the third anniversary of the betrayal of October 16, 2017, as the Popular Mobilization Forces and other Iraqi forces took control of Kirkuk and most (disputed) following the betrayal of a wing of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan on that day, and their agreement with the Hashd militia, which launched an unjustified attack after the independence referendum, which was conducted by the Kurdistan Region and won unrivaled support.

Masrour Barzani wrote on his official Facebook page that "the abnormal situation, which occurred as a result of the betrayal of the sellers of land in Kirkuk and other Kurdish regions, is unacceptable."
