Afrin: Turkish Jandarma shoot dead child while attempting to cross into Turkey in Jenderes township
ARK News: Special source from Jenderes township told ARK News the death of a child after being shot by the Turkish border guard forces (Jandarma).
The same source said that while the young child Hassan Jum’ a Hamad was trying with his family to cross into Turkey from the Al-Nasiriya area of Jenderes countryside of Afrin, near the Turkey and Syria border, Turkish border guards shot the family and killed the young man, Hassan.
The Source also added that the young man who was killed by the Turkish Gendarmerie, is 16 years old, from Jenderes township of Afrin city.
According to the last statistics by a Human Rights Organization, the number of Syrian civilians who have been killed by Turkish Jandarma since the beginning of the Syrian Revolution has risen to 459 including 81 children under the age of eighteen and 44 females over the age of eighteen.
