ARK News… The city in Syrian Kurdistan topped the list of the highest temperatures recorded in the world during the past 24 hours.

The city of Hasakah in Syrian Kurdistan ranked the first in recording 50 degrees Celsius, while a city in Saudi Arabia ranked the second.

The professor of climate at the Department of Geography at the Qassem University, founder and head of the committee for naming climate cases in Saudi Arabia, Abdullah Al-Musnad, said that Dammam recorded the second-highest temperature in the world at 48.4.
