Assad’s regime arrested 34 young men

ARK News… The Assad regime has arrested 34 young men from the town of "Yalda" south of the capital, Damascus, after a campaign of arrests that began last Sunday evening.

Patrols affiliated with the branches of "Palestine" and "Al Dawriyaat" of the Military Security have launched arrest campaigns focused on "Beirut" Street and the roundabout of the "Umahaat Al Mu’minin" mosque, which overlooks the roundabout "Palestine" and "Al Nakhil Street", according to the "Voice of the Capital" website.

He said that the patrols began their campaign around eight o'clock in the evening on Sunday, during which they targeted several houses in the aforementioned area, and took the young men to the entrance to "Beirut" Street, where they set up a temporary barrier, to be transferred to the headquarters of the security branches.

He added that most of the detainees during the campaign launched by the Military Security were from the "Yarmouk" camp who had visited their homes during the past few days, in addition to others who were arrested after security reports were presented against them by the region's informants.

He pointed out that the security branches responsible for the neighborhoods of southern Damascus, last week, allowed the return of a number of families to the "Yarmouk" camp, who own houses that are habitable, including 150 families, most of them families of members of the Military Security and the Fourth Division, and fighters in the "General Command" and " opening the intifada "and other Palestinian factions fighting alongside the regime.
