Four Kurdish brothers have been detained since 2012 in Sednaya prison, and their fate is unknown

ARK News.. A human rights organization working to document the names of the detainees and missing persons, has called upon the regime and the concerned authorities to clarify the fate of four brothers from the town of Al-Derbasiya in Syrian Kurdistan, who have been detained in Sednaya prison since 2012.

Voice of the Detainees organization said in a statement read by ARK that: Faisal Arab Muhammad, Suleiman Arab Muhammad, Alan Arab Muhammad and Basil Arab Muhammad, from the village of Shuniya in the town of Derbasiya, were arrested on 04.02.2012 in the village of Qatinah, located in Homs Governorate.

The organization added: The four brothers were arrested by the Syrian regime, during the regime's raid on the neighboring villages and the farm where the Arab Muhammad family were working.

The organization indicated: where Arab Muhammad was arrested with his four children and their cousin and were thrown into Homs prison at the time, a day after the arrest, Arab Muhammad the father was released, and their cousin and the four brothers were kept Arab Muhammad's children, and then transferred to Sednaya prison. The organization added: At the end of 2016, their relatives visited them in Sednaya prison.

The Detainees' Voice organization demanded that the regime has to disclose the fate of the four detainees and release them, holding the regime responsibility for their safety until they return to their families. It also appealed to international human rights organizations to intervene to reveal their fate, and to work for the release of all detainees and enforced disappearances in the prisons of the Syrian regime.
