Israeli shelling on sites in Syria
ARK News.. Several sources reported that the outskirts of Damascus and the Al-Sha'erat base near Homs (central Syria) were under new bombardment believed to be Israeli.
The regime's SANA news agency announced that the air defenses, on Tuesday evening, responded to air targets in the sky of the city of Homs. Witnesses reported hearing loud explosions south of Damascus, and that "the anti-aircraft of the Syrian regime army fired dozens of rockets."
For its part, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported, on Tuesday evening, that “a bombardment carried out by Israeli warplanes flying in Lebanon’s airspace targeted more than 8 rockets at Al-Shu’aytat airport in Homs, while sound was heard resulting from the air defenses’ attempt to counter these strikes”.
At the beginning of March, Israeli aircraft launched raids on two sites in Homs and Quneitra in the Golan, killing one person and wounding another.
