Afrin.. Two explosions and material damage

ARK News: The Kurdish region of Afrin, on Monday, March 23, 2020, witnessed two explosions, one in the city center and the second in Jenderes township. The damage was limited to materials only.

A private source from the city of Afrin told ARK Media that: An explosion occurred in the center of the city of Afrin, near Abu Bakir Mosque, Al-Siyasiye Street, Azadi Square.

The source confirmed that the explosion was caused by an explosive device that was placed near the mosque.

For its part, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said: An explosion occurred in the center of Jenderes township, by means of a motorcycle bomb. Pointing out that the explosion targeted the military headquarters of the armed factions in Jenderes, and the damage was limited to material only.

The Kurdish region of Afrin witnesses similar explosions from time to time, most of which are the result of differences that occur between the factions and groups themselves.
