Ongoing military escalation in north-west of Syria, the displacement of 1,009,346 people from the de-escalation zones

ARK News.. The Syrian government forces continue their military progress with aerial and ground bombardment on Idlib governorate and its countryside, amid the displacement of 177,078 families from the de-escalation zones in northwestern Syria.

A field source told North-Press, that the Russian and Syrian government warplanes are targeting the eastern outskirts of the city of Idlib with vacuum missiles. The source pointed out that the Syrian government forces took control over the area of Baarbo in the southern countryside of Idlib.

Whereas, the Turkish backed armed opposition groups destroyed a Russian logistical military vehicle in the area of al-Dadikh in the eastern countryside of Idlib, as according to the Syrian opposition websites.

During the last 36 hours, the Syrian government forces managed to control more than 15 villages and towns in the southern countryside of Idlib, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

While yesterday on Monday, the 'Syrian Response Coordinators Team' documented new statistics regarding the increase of the number of the internally displaced people from the de-escalation zones in northwestern Syria, to 1,009,346 people, including 177,078 families, 794,384 children and women since November 2019, and until the twenty-third of the current February.

The Syrian Response Coordinators Team stated that there are about 1,022,216 IDPs in the camps in several areas in northern Syria.
