A delegation from the Kurdish National Council meets US Ambassador William Ruback

ARK News: The Presidency of the Kurdish National Council, on Tuesday 25 February 2020, met with the American ambassador, William Ruback, and his assistant, Miss Emily Brandt, at his invitation at his residence.

The results of the tour of the Council’s delegation to Turkey and the endeavors on the unity of the Kurdish position were discussed, where for his part, the American ambassador stressed the importance and necessity of the return of the displaced to their homes in Afrin, Tal Abyad and Sari Kaniye, noting that his country supports that, as well as the unity of the Kurdish position because of its positive repercussions on the general political solution in Syria and the drafting of a constitution that guarantees the rights of all Syrians, including the Kurds.

The Council delegation thanked the ambassador's invitation and his country's interest in finding a political solution to the Syrian crisis and their support for the efforts being made for the unity of the Kurdish position and coordination to solve various issues in the country and the Kurdish regions.

The Ambassador pointed out the importance of cooperation and the continuation of meetings between the two sides.
