ARK News: The Assad regime and the security branches in Deir Al Zour continued the forced recruitment campaign that they launched three days ago, as dozens of young men have been taken to compulsory service until now, according to the “Deir Al Zour 24” network.

The network added that the volatile checkpoints of the Assad regime and the security branches fill the city's streets, as well as checkpoints in front of government departments, institutes, and in front of colleges, in searching of those who are in compulsory service age.

The network quoted sources that it said were special, saying that the Assad forces had set a specific number of 1,500 young men, for the latest campaign, they should be taken for compulsory service.

The same sources pointed out to the network that the reason for the campaign is a significant shortage of fighters on the Aleppo and Sahel fronts, and that Assad's forces will continue their campaign in Deir Al Zour until 1,500 fighters who are arrested and recruited are secured for plotting on the northern Syrian fronts and the Aleppo and Sahel fronts.

It is noteworthy that the campaign included members of the National Defense Militia in Deir Al Zour, where a number of militia members were arrested and taken to compulsory service, while members of Iranian and Russian militias remained safe from the campaign launched by the Assad forces.
