Trump prefers a political solution to the Syrian conflict

ARK News.. The Deputy Press Secretary at the American Embassy in Damascus made the following statement:
President Donald J. Trump spoke with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan yesterday.
President Trump expressed his concern over the violence in Idlib, Syria, and thanked President Erdogan for Turkey's efforts in preventing a humanitarian catastrophe.
President Trump also conveyed the US desire to see an end to Russia's support for the Assad regime's atrocities, as well as a political solution to the Syrian conflict.
President Trump also stressed that continued foreign interference in Libya is exacerbating the situation. "
