Kurdish from Afrin gets a high degree in the Netherlands
ARK News: Kurdna Nori Shitlo, a university student from Afrin, Syrian Kurdistan, received her bachelor's degree in International Human Resources Management from a university in the Netherlands.
In the details Shitlo said in a statement to ARK News: "I am from the village" Coqê; "but I spent my childhood in the city of Afrin and I had arrived in the Netherlands in 2012 and gave birth to my son here and then separated, and it was hard to find my way with a small child in exile."
She added: "I felt that my future would be lost but I decided to start my life again through science university and I entered university study at the International Human Resources Management Section and made a great effort that succeeded and got a BS in this section."
She continued: "I believe that I have a message that I must deliver as I hope to be the support of many women and mothers who have been wronged in our society and to support children to live their childhood and find their chance in life ... My goal is always to rejoice the spirit of my father and make him proud. "
She pointed out that her success sends a message to new refugees in Europe and that "nothing is impossible, as long as one works with a noble intention, he/she is able to achieve what he/she wishes."
