The PYD administration thanks US forces for their role in the success of the Turkish patrol mission

ARK News: The administration of the PYD thanked the US forces for creating the atmosphere for the entry and conduct of Turkish patrols on Sunday to the regions of Syrian Kurdistan between Sari Kaniye and Gire Spi.

In a statement on Sunday 08.09.2019 the administration of the PYD thanked the International Coalition as well as the US military forces for their "efforts to reach understandings that ensure stability and peace", it also thanked its militants in those areas for "their role in preparing the ground for the success of the mission of these patrols."

During a meeting with Arab tribes in Gire Spi, Saleh Muslim said on September 4, 2019: That "no one of Turkish soldier will enter into the safe area", then four days after that statement, Turkish-American armored vehicles entered Syrian Kurdistan within the framework of the safe zone agreement.
