America: The passing of astronaut Muhammad Fares is a loss for Syrians and the entire world
ARK News… The United States of America confirmed that the passing of Muhammad Fares, the Syrian astronaut, represents a loss for the Syrians and the entire world.
This came in a tweet by the “American Embassy in Syria,” in which it offered condolences to the family and friends of the late general.
The US Embassy in Syria added: “As the first Syrian to travel into space, Muhammad Fares set an example of his dedication to excellence, and also called for freedom for the Syrian people. His death is a great loss for Syrians and the entire world.”
On Friday, the Syrian Major General and Astronaut, Muhammad Fares, died after suffering from illness in the Turkish city of Gaziantep. He was buried, on Monday, in the city of Izaz in the northern countryside of Aleppo, according to his will.
