The Peace and Freedom Front stresses the necessity of “Hayat Tahrir al-Sham” exit from Afrin and other areas

ARK News… The leadership body of the Peace and Freedom Front, on Sunday, November 6, 2022, held its periodic meeting via the Zoom program (online).

The meeting began with a comprehensive political speech by Mr. Ahmed Al-Jarba, head of the Front, in which he addressed the latest and most important international and regional political developments, everything related to the Syrian file, the continuation of the conflict in Syria in light of a state of political impossibility, the freezing of the negotiating process in Geneva, and the absence of signs of a political solution to the Syrian crisis.

In this regard, the Front condemned the brutal bombing of the regime and its allies, which targeted civilians in refugee camps in western Syria, and left dozens of martyrs and wounded, including women and children.

The head of the front also spoke about the increasing impact of the international conflict in Ukraine, the aggravation of this conflict on international politics, and its direct threat to global markets.

The head of the front talked about the recent Arab summit held in Algeria, and not to come up with anything new in light of the prominent absence of Arab leaders.

The Peace and Freedom Front condemned the entry of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra), which is on the terrorist list, into the areas of Afrin and its neighboring areas, and the necessity of its exit from all the areas it controlled.

After that, the door was opened for the members of the leadership body to intervene and make comments and inquiries, which contributed to enriching the discussion.

At the end of the meeting, the attendees emphasized the follow-up to the work of the front offices and ways to activate them in line with the developments of events in the Syrian scene for a year.
