The ENKS calls on the PYD to release the arrested teachers immediately

ARK News... The security forces of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) in the city of Dirbesiya arrested a number of teachers, their names are:

1 - Abdul Hamid Aliko, Arabic teacher
2 - Idris Sharif, Arabic teacher
3 - Idris Aliko, teacher of physics and chemistry
4 - Muhammad Suleiman, science teacher
5 - Ibrahim Suleiman, teacher of mathematics
6- Dalil Sheikh Musa, a mathematics teacher

Under the pretext that they give special education in the curriculum approved by the state, and this contradicts the initial understandings between the council and the leadership of the SDF to leave the choice for students and families to study the curriculum they want and facilitate the opening of institutes and special courses in the state curriculum until they agree on a curriculum recognized by UNICEF.

The Kurdish National Council calls for the immediate release of these detainees and to apologize to them, and expresses its strong condemnation of these abusive acts, which are aimed at consolidating and deepening the existing differences due to the uniqueness of the administration of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) by the decision and the determination of the fate of others in various areas related to their political, economic and educational lives and culture.

All these actions are tightening its security grip and tame people to accept them by force.

We call on all the concerned parties with human rights, the unity of the Kurdish position, and the political solution in the country to raise their voice in the face of these tyrannical practices by the administration of the Democratic Union Party the PYD and solidarity with the detainees, their families, and affected students from arresting of their teachers.
