Turkey imposes a fine on Syrian refugees for violating the decision to ban the curfew of children

ARK News.. Turkish police, on Saturday, imposed a fine on Syrian refugees in Hatay, southern Turkey, for violating a curfew after the spread of the "Corona-Covid 19" disease caused by the SARS-Cove 2 virus.

Eyewitnesses said, with a statement to SMART, that the Turkish police imposed a fine of 390 Turkish liras (the equivalent of 58 US dollars) on Syrian women for taking their children with them during their visit to a friend in the city of Rihaniyah.

The Turkish government announced earlier the curfew of children and young people under the age of twenty years in addition to the elderly people over the age of 65 and those with chronic diseases, without specifying the financial fine to be imposed on those groups that violate the decision.

This comes within the framework of the preventive measures announced by the Turkish government to combat the spread of the "Corona" disease, as of 4 April 2020, 23,934 people have died, of whom 501 have died, according to the Turkish Ministry of Health.
