تركيا تؤكد على ضرورة رفع العقوبات بشكل غير مشروط ودائم عن سوريا
أكدت تركيا أن الإعفاءات التي قُدمت مؤخراً للإدارة السورية الجديدة غير كافية، مشددة على ضرورة رفع العقوبات بشكل غير مشروط ودائم.
خلال كلمة في مؤتمر بروكسل التاسع للمانحين حول سوريا الذي نظمه الاتحاد الأوروبي، دعا نائب وزير الخارجية التركي نوح يلماز: "للعمل من أجل تحقيق تحسن عاجل في الحياة اليومية للسوريين، مشدداً على أهمية دعم المجتمع الدولي للخطوات التي تتخذها الإدارة السورية لتحقيق عملية انتقال شاملة".
وأكد نائب وزير الخارجية التركي على أهمية الأمن الاقتصادي بالنسبة لسوريا باعتباره عاملاً رئيسياً في تحقيق الاستقرار والأمن في البلاد.
موضحا أن تحفيز عودة اللاجئين السوريين إلى بلادهم يتطلب جهود إعادة إعمار شاملة، إلى جانب خلق فرص اقتصادية وفرص عمل.
مشيرا إلى أن الإعفاءات الأخيرة المفروضة على سوريا قوبلت بترحيب، لكنها غير كافية، مؤكداً الحاجة إلى رفع العقوبات بشكل غير مشروط ودائم، مع تحقيق تحسن عاجل في الحياة اليومية للسوريين.

فرنسا تقترح فرض عقوبات على المسؤولين عن عمليات القتل في الساحل السوري
اقترحت فرنسا على المفوضية الأوروبية فرض عقوبات على المسؤولين عن عمليات القتل التي ارتكبت في حقّ مدنيين غالبيتهم من العلويين في الساحل السوري.
قال وزير الخارجية الفرنسي جان نويل بارو في رسالة على إكس "اقترحت فرض عقوبات على المسؤولين عن الإعدامات المرتكبة في حقّ مدنيين في الساحل العلوي في سوريا".
وبدأ التوتر في السادس من آذار في قرية ذات غالبية علوية بريف اللاذقية على خلفية توقيف قوات الأمن مطلوباً.
وسرعان ما تطوّر الوضع إلى اشتباكات بعد إطلاق مسلحين علويين، قالت السلطات إنهم من الموالين للرئيس المخلوع بشار الأسد، النار على عناصر قوات الأمن في أكثر من مكان.

الدول المانحة والاتحاد الأوروبي يتعهد بتقديم 5.8 مليار يورو لسوريا
تعهدت الدول المانحة، وبينها الاتحاد الأوروبي، تقديم مساعدات الى سوريا بقيمة (5.8) مليارات يورو، وهو مبلغ أدنى من التزامها السابق بسبب عدم مساهمة الولايات المتحدة.
قال المفوض الأوروبي للبحر المتوسط دوبرافكا سويكا "أتشرف بالإعلان أننا تعهدنا جميعا ما مجموعه 5,8 مليارات يورو، (هي) (4.2) مليارات من الهبات و(1.6) مليار من القروض".
في السياق ذاته، تعهد الاتحاد الأوروبي الاثنين تقديم نحو (2.5) مليار يورو على مدى عامين لسوريا لتسهيل إعادة الإعمار بعد أكثر من عقد من الحرب وبينما علقت الولايات المتحدة مساعداتها.

قوات سوريا الديمقراطية تختطف قاصرة من حي الشيخ مقصود بحلب
تستمر قوات سوريا الديمقراطية في سياسة ترهيب الأطفال وسلب طفولتهم والزج بهم في معسكرات التجنيد الإجباري في المناطق التي تسيطر عليها، إذ اختطفت قاصرة من قرية تابعة لناحية بلبلة بعفرين.
قال مصدر خاص لموقع آرك نيوز، إن مسلحي حركة الشبيبة الثورية (جوانين شورشكر) التابعة لقوات سوريا الديمقراطية اختطفوا القاصرة " فريدة خليل محمد "، مواليد 2009، بتاريخ 15 شباط 2025، بعد الإفطار قرب سوق الخضرة في شارع بلاليكو في حي الشيخ مقصود بحلب.
وحسب المصدر أنه وأثناء مراجعة الأهالي مراكز الخدمة الإلزامية و أسايش الحي و مركز جوانين شورشكر، نفوا اختطافها وسوقها إلى مراكز التجنيد، وبعدها أقرَّ مسلحو جوانين شورشكر بأن الطفلة عندهم.
وتنحدر القاصرة المختطفة من قرية (بخجة) التابعة لناحية بلبلة بعفرين.
رغم توقيع مظلوم كوباني قائد قوات سوريا الديمقراطية خطة عمل مع فرجينيا غامبا ممثلة الأمم المتحدة المعنية بالأطفال والنزاع المسلح، لإنهاء ومنع تجنيد الأطفال دون سن 18 واستخدامهم في الأعمال العسكرية، فإن زج القاصرين في المعارك وتجنيدهم ما يزال مستمراً.

Syrian Coast: Death Toll Surpasses 2,000
ARK News.. A Syrian human rights source has revealed that the total number of casualties in the ongoing developments in the Syrian coastal region has exceeded 2,000, including more than 1,500 civilians.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights on Monday, March 17, 2025, the overall death toll of civilians and combatants has risen to 2,089 amid the security operation launched in response to Alawite militant attacks on security forces on Thursday, March 6.
The casualties reportedly include:
273 members of security forces and the Ministry of Defense
259 Alawite militants, remnants of Assad’s forces
Additionally, the source confirmed that 1,557 civilians have been killed in retaliatory operations since the outbreak of the violence on March 6 up until today.

ARK News.. U.S. and Israeli authorities have expressed interest in the possibility of resettling Palestinians from the Gaza Strip in Syria, according to reports.
Citing sources, CBS News—as reported by Al Arabiya/Al Hadath—stated that the administration of President Donald Trump had attempted to establish communication with the new Syrian government regarding this matter through an intermediary.
Another source confirmed that a request had been sent to Syrian authorities, though it remains unclear whether any response was received.
However, a senior Syrian official denied to CBS News that Syria had received any such requests from the United States or Israel regarding the resettlement of Gaza residents.
It is worth noting that Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa declared in February that he views Trump’s plans to expel Palestinians from their lands as unethical.

With al-Shaibani’s Participation, Brussels Donor Conference for Syria Kicks Off
ARK News.. The European Union is holding a donor conference on Syria today, Monday, March 17, 2025, in Brussels. This conference serves as an opportunity for European nations to mobilize international support for Syria following the fall of Assad’s regime on December 8, 2024. Foreign ministers from EU member states are expected to discuss several key issues, with a primary focus on "Standing with Syria" and addressing the needs of the transitional phase.
For the first time, Syria will officially participate in the ninth donor conference, with representatives from the new government in Damascus. Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani will represent Syria in Brussels on the sidelines of an EU foreign ministers’ meeting.
According to diplomats, the 27 EU member states, which swiftly backed Syria’s transition process after Assad’s fall, consider the recent violent incidents an isolated case. They welcomed the formation of an investigative committee, stating in a joint declaration that "everything must be done to prevent such crimes from happening again."
These countries have also signaled their willingness to reconsider the phased lifting of sanctions on Syria, an agreement reached in late February, should similar incidents recur, according to Brussels-based diplomats.

Masrour Barzani and Alparslan Bayraqdar Agree to Overcome Obstacles to Resuming Kurdistan Oil Exports
ARK News.. Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Masrour Barzani and Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraqdar have agreed to remove all obstacles hindering the export of Kurdistan Region’s oil through the Ceyhan port as soon as possible.
On Sunday evening, March 16, 2025, Prime Minister Barzani received Minister Bayraqdar and his accompanying delegation to discuss ways to strengthen ties between the Kurdistan Region and the Republic of Turkey, particularly in the energy sector.
Both sides reached an agreement to eliminate all barriers preventing the resumption of oil exports from the Kurdistan Region through Turkey’s Ceyhan port at the earliest possible date.
Minister Bayraqdar arrived in the Kurdistan Region’s capital, Erbil, on Sunday as part of an official visit, accompanied by the Turkish ambassador to Iraq and several senior officials.
He was received by KRG Acting Minister of Natural Resources and Minister of Electricity Kamal Mohammed, along with KRG Head of Foreign Relations Safeen Dizayi and Director of Turkish Affairs at the Department of Foreign Relations Hoshang Ahmed.

The General Secretariat of the Kurdish National Council held its regular meeting on March 16, 2025, commencing with a moment of silence in honor of the martyrs and the immortal spirit of Barzani.
During the meeting, members observed a five-minute silent vigil in the streets to commemorate the victims of the chemical bombardment of Halabja and Khormal in Iraqi Kurdistan, carried out by the tyrant Saddam Hussein 37 years ago.
The discussions covered various political issues concerning Syria and the Kurdish situation. The attendees stressed the urgency of formulating a unified Kurdish political vision and forming a joint Kurdish delegation as soon as possible to engage in dialogue with the new administration in Damascus.
The meeting highlighted the importance of intensifying the Council’s efforts to communicate with Syria’s diverse political, ethnic, and religious groups to strengthen relations and foster cooperation in building a nation that belongs to all its citizens.
The participants reaffirmed the need to amend the constitutional declaration to reflect Syria’s pluralistic identity and safeguard the rights of all communities. They also underscored the role of influential international actors in empowering Syrians to establish their state and secure their rights. In this context, the General Secretariat welcomed the Turkish Foreign Minister’s recent statements advocating for the recognition of Syrian Kurds' rights.

Additionally, the Council welcomed Abdullah Ocalan’s call for the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) to lay down arms, expressing hope that this initiative would pave the way for a peaceful and democratic resolution to the Kurdish issue in Turkey.

الساحل السوري.. حصيلة القتلى ترتفع لأكثر من 2000 شخص
كشف مصدر حقوقي سوري أن العدد الإجمالي للضحايا في تطورات الساحل السوري ارتفع لأكثر من 2000 شخص بينهم أكثر من 1500 مدني.
قال المرصد السوري لحقوق الإنسان اليوم الإثنين 17 آذار 2025، إن العدد الإجمالي للقتلى من مدنيين وعسكريين ارتفع إلى 2089، خلال العملية الأمنية التي جاءت ردا على هجمات المسلحين العلويين على قوى الأمن يوم الخميس 6 آذار في الساحل السوري.
وحسب المصدر القتلى هم: (273 من قوى الأمن وعناصر وزارة الدفاع و259 من المسلحين العلويين فلول الأسد).
وأوضح المصدر أن 1557 مدني قتلوا نتيجة عمليات التصفية منذ اندلاع الهجمات ضد القوى الأمنية والعسكرية يوم الخميس 6 آذار وحتى اليوم الإثنين 17 آذار.
