Fact-Finding Committee in Syria’s Coastal Region Documents 100 Testimonies
ARK News.. The spokesperson for the Fact-Finding Committee on the events in Syria’s coastal region announced that the committee has documented approximately 100 field testimonies and has formally requested permission from the Syrian government to visit detention centers holding suspected individuals.
Yasser al-Farhan, the committee's spokesperson, stated that the team intends to visit the detention facilities of those involved or suspected of involvement in the recent "coastal events," including individuals affiliated with the deposed regime as well as other groups, to hear their accounts and document their testimonies.
Al-Farhan further explained that the committee has requested access to these detention centers, seeking to interview suspects associated both with the Assad regime and with other factions from the region.
He noted that hearings are scheduled to take place on Friday and Saturday.
The primary objectives of the visit, according to al-Farhan, include evaluating the government's measures in holding perpetrators accountable, assessing efforts to secure the affected areas to prevent further violations, and examining the Syrian state's level of control over the groups or individuals involved. He emphasized that the committee has yet to verify these aspects conclusively.
He also highlighted that the committee has conducted on-site investigations across all areas where violations were reported, gathering approximately 100 testimonies. He assured that witnesses provided their accounts freely, without interference or reluctance, and those protective measures were taken to ensure their safety, including conducting interviews in isolated locations and safeguarding their identities.

Turkey to Israel: Stop Undermining Stability Efforts in Syria
ARK News.. After Israel accused Turkey of attempting to place Syria under its guardianship, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on Israel to withdraw from Syria and cease obstructing efforts to establish stability in the country.
In a statement, the Turkish Foreign Ministry declared: “Israel has become the greatest threat to regional security. It destabilizes strategic stability, sows’ chaos, and fuels terrorism.”
The ministry further emphasized: “To ensure security across the region, Israel must first abandon its expansionist policies, withdraw from the territories it occupies, and stop undermining efforts to stabilize Syria.”

APIKUR: Ready and Eager to Resume Kurdistan Region Oil Exports
ARK News.. The Association of the Petroleum Industry of Kurdistan (APIKUR) has issued a new statement regarding the resumption of oil exports from the Kurdistan Region.
In a post on its official account on the X platform, APIKUR stated: “We are very eager to resume oil exports and have always sought to engage in discussions with Baghdad.”
The association further explained that “our production operations have been severely impacted by the closure of the Iraq-Turkey pipeline, forcing us to sell oil at significantly lower prices than the global market rate. Currently, the global price is nearly double the local market selling price.”
APIKUR highlighted that “the export suspension has resulted in revenue losses of $400 million for the association’s member companies.”
The statement concluded with: “We are prepared to resume oil exports once an agreement is reached with both the Iraqi government and the Kurdistan Regional Government. It is crucial to safeguard our rights, and we have conveyed this message to all relevant parties.”

"On the 45th anniversary of the genocide against the Feyli Kurds, we pay tribute to the souls of the Feyli Kurdish martyrs and all those who have sacrificed their lives for the freedom of Kurdistan."

ARK News.. Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Masrour Barzani issued a statement today, Friday, April 4, 2025, marking the 45th anniversary of the genocide against the Feyli Kurds. In his statement, he emphasized the need for the Iraqi government to fully uphold its legal and constitutional responsibilities, particularly in ensuring fair and just compensation for the families of the victims of this genocide, as well as other crimes of mass extermination. He also called for the restitution of their confiscated rights and properties.
The full statement reads as follows:
"Today, we commemorate the anniversary of a heinous crime that targeted an integral part of our people—the systematic campaigns of genocide against the Feyli Kurds. These crimes were perpetrated by successive Iraqi regimes over multiple phases, reaching their peak brutality in 1980. Without any wrongdoing other than their ethnic identity, the former Iraqi regime forcibly expelled and deported hundreds of thousands of Feyli Kurds from Iraq, while thousands more were forcibly disappeared. The regime went even further by seizing their assets and properties and stripping them of their Iraqi citizenship.
On this solemn occasion, as we mark the 45th anniversary of this tragedy, we once again stress the urgent need for the Iraqi government to fulfill its legal and constitutional obligations in full. This includes delivering fair and just compensation to the families of the victims of this genocide and other acts of mass extermination, as well as restoring their usurped rights and properties.
Glory to the pure souls of the Feyli Kurdish martyrs and all the martyrs of Kurdistan."

إسرائيل تعلن عن جولات سياحية داخل الأراضي السورية
أعلن الجيش الإسرائيلي أنه سيسمح للمدنيين بعبور السياج الحدودي مع سوريا، والانضمام إلى "رحلات سياحية" بصحبة مرشدين داخل منطقة عسكرية محظورة، خلال عطلة عيد الفصح المقبلة.
حسب صحيفة "يديعوت أحرونوت" الإسرائيلية، ستشمل الجولات غير المسبوقة، التي حصلت على تصريح خاص من الجيش الإسرائيلي، الوصول إلى مناطق خلابة داخل الأراضي السورية، ومناطق أخرى قرب نهر اليرموك، ونقط مراقبة عسكرية،
وفق المصدر قال الجيش الإسرائيلي إن هذه المبادرة تأتي بالتنسيق بين القيادة الشمالية والفرقة 210، ومركز "كيشت يهوناتان" التعليمي، ومدرسة الجولان الميدانية، والمجلس الإقليمي للجولان، وهيئة الطبيعة والمتنزهات الإسرائيلية.
يذكر أن اليهود يحتفلون، وفق التقويم العبري، بعيد الفصح لمدة أسبوع، وينتهي احتفال هذا العام في 19 نيسان الجاري.

أمريكا تنقل بطاريات صواريخ "باتريوت" إلى الشرق الأوسط
أعلنت وسائل إعلامية كوردية جنوبية أن سيئول وواشنطن اتفقتا مؤخرا على خطة لنقل بطاريات صواريخ "باتريوت" الأمريكية من كوريا الجنوبية إلى الشرق الأوسط مؤقتا.
بحسب وكالة "يونهاب" الكورية الجنوبية، فقد "اتفق الحليفان (أمريكا وكوريا الجنوبية) الشهر الماضي على النشر الجزئي لمدة شهر لبطاريات باتريوت ذات القدرة المتقدمة-3، وهي أول حالة معروفة تتضمن نقل أصول القوات الأمريكية من كوريا الجنوبية إلى الشرق الأوسط".
وتأتي هذه الخطوة النادرة بعد أن ذكرت قناة "إن بي سي نيوز" الأمريكية الأسبوع الماضي أن وزير الدفاع الأمريكي بيت هيغسيث قد أذن بنقل بطاريتين على الأقل من صواريخ "باتريوت" من آسيا إلى الشرق الأوسط، مع قيام الولايات المتحدة بعمل عسكري ضد الحوثيين في اليمن.
لكنه يأتي أيضا وسط مخاوف متزايدة في كوريا الجنوبية من أن واشنطن قد تطالب سيئول بتحمل المزيد من تكاليف تمركز القوات الأمريكية في كوريا الجنوبية، أو إعادة النظر في دور القوات الأمريكية في كوريا الجنوبية، مع اتباع الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب مسلكا جديدا في تحالفات واشنطن.
ونقلت "يونهاب" عن المصادر قولها إن هذه الصواريخ التي سيتم نقلها، "تعمل إلى جانب أصول الدفاع الجوي الخاصة بكوريا الجنوبية في نظام دفاع صاروخي متعدد الطبقات ضد التهديدات الصاروخية والنووية لكوريا الشمالية" .

أبيكور: مستعدون ومستعجلون جدا لاستئناف تصدير نفط إقليم كوردستان
أصدرت جمعية صناعة النفط في إقليم كوردستان "أبيكور"، بيانًا جديدًا حول استئناف تصدير نفط إقليم كوردستان.
قالت جمعية صناعة النفط في إقليم كوردستان في منشور على حسابها الرسمي بمنصة (إكس): "مستعجلون جدًا لاستئناف تصدير النفط، وكنا دائمًا نسعى لإجراء محادثات مع بغداد".
وأضافت الجمعية: "عملياتنا الإنتاجية تأثرت بشدة بسبب إغلاق خط أنابيب العراق – تركيا، مما أجبرنا على بيع النفط بأسعار أقل بكثير من الأسعار العالمية. حاليًا، السعر العالمي يعادل ضعف سعر البيع في السوق المحلية".
وأوضحت "أبيكور"، أن "إيقاف التصدير أدى إلى خسائر في عائدات الشركات الأعضاء في الرابطة بقيمة 400 مليون دولار".
واختتم البيان بالقول: "نحن مستعدون لاستئناف تصدير النفط بعد التوصل إلى اتفاق مع الحكومة العراقية وحكومة إقليم كوردستان، مع التأكيد على أهمية حماية حقوقنا، وقد أوصلنا هذه الرسالة إلى جميع الأطراف المعنية".

ترامب يوقف بث إذاعة أوروبا الحرة "راديو ليبرتي"
أعلن مدير إذاعة أوروبا الحرة/ راديو ليبرتي الخميس أن الحكومة الأمريكية أوقفت بث برامجها الموجّهة عبر القمر الاصطناعي باللغة الروسية إلى روسيا.
تأسّست إذاعة أوروبا الحرة خلال الحرب الباردة كجهاز للدعاية المضادة للسوفيات بتمويل أمريكي، لكنها لا تتوافق حالياً مع توجهات إدارة الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب التي قررت في منتصف آذار المنصرم تجميد تمويلها كجزء من مساعيها لتقليص نفقات الحكومة الفيدرالية.
وطعنت إذاعة أوروبا الحرة في القرار وحصلت على أمر قضائي مؤقت، لكنّ الوكالة الأمريكية للإعلام العالمي التي تشرف على عملياتها لم تفرج عن الأموال المخصصة لها.
وقال ستيفن كابوس، المدير العام لإذاعة أوروبا الحرة ومقرها في براغ لوكالة فرانس برس "جئنا إلى العمل اليوم ورأينا أن الوكالة الأمريكية للإعلام العالمي عطّلت خدمات الأقمار الاصطناعية التي تصل إلى روسيا".
ويؤثّر هذا القرار على بثّ قناة "الآن" التلفزيونية الناطقة باللغة الروسية على مدار 24 ساعة في روسيا وأوكرانيا وآسيا الوسطى وأوروبا الشرقية ومناطق أخرى.
وأضاف كابوس أن وكالة الإعلام العالمي أخطرت إذاعة أوروبا الحرة بإنهاء عقود بث القناة عبر الأقمار الاصطناعية إلى أوروبا.
وتصل إذاعة أوروبا الحرة/ راديو ليبرتي إلى ما يقرب من 50 مليون شخص في بيلاروسيا والصين وإيران وروسيا، وتبث مواد مضادة للدعاية الرسمية.
ووضعت إذاعة أوروبا الحرة/راديو ليبرتي العديد من موظفيها في إجازة بأجر مخفّض الثلاثاء بانتظار الإفراج عن 77 مليون دولار تحتاج إليها لمواصلة العمل حتى الخريف.
وقال كابوس "لا أعتقد أنّ هناك أيّ شكّ في أنّ إدارة ترامب ترغب في أن نوقف البث. أعتقد أن هذا واضح تماماً".
ويأتي تجميد التمويل في الوقت الذي يسعى فيه الرئيس دونالد ترامب إلى تعزيز العلاقات مع روسيا والتواصل مع رئيسها فلاديمير بوتين سعياً لوقف إطلاق النار في أوكرانيا.
